Welcome to London, 1861. The city is teaming with new ideas and inventions: Darwin’s theories, the American Civil War, and the artistic dress movement. On the surface, it is a time of being prim and proper, but even in the highest of societies lay a predator that no amount of tea or smelling salts can cure- the vampire. A regal creature, as old as man itself, the vampire of London “live” in high Victorian society- attending operas, balls, and other events. However, when the sun is out, these beautiful and mysterious beings are no where to be found- which is really where the humans should prefer them to stay.
The humans of London have little idea that the wonderful dancing companion they’ve waltzed with is, in fact, not hunting for a spouse, political alignment, or anything so messy.
Just their blood.
Victorians is a game based in 1860’s London, and is meant for mature players over the age of eighteen only. While our vampire lore comes from the works of Anne Rice, all characters are original and will not be allowing in any canon characters or history from the books. We emphasize that this is a
game meant for fun.

Please state if you are holding a vampire or human, as well as pb- if you fail to do this, your hold can be challenged. A challenge is won by who submits the application first- however, if the application that is sent first is turned away, the challenger will have the chance to apply still.
Current holds will be held until opening (August 28th). After this date, all holds (new and renewed) last for a full four days, with an optional extension of two days. Those who apply before the 22nd will be able to take part of OOC business.

Please allow 48 hours for the mod to look the application over. If you are accepted, you will get an email asking you for a journal name to add to the comms, along with other instructions. Rejected applications will be deleted, and applicants are invited to try joining as another character. Reasons for rejection include: poor writing (spelling/grammar/content issues), Mary Sues/unrealistic/flat characters, historical/setting issues, and not completing the application correctly. If you are rejected, you have the right to email us and ask why. Just remember, we have the right to ignore any such emails that are rude or created to start drama.
